Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners August 14, 1962. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline, Banker,Spangle,
Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioner Bull absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 7, 1962 were read and approved.
Report of bids taken on August 7th for Water&Sewage Dept. truck. City Mir reported
that Lawrence Warta Motor Co. was low bid in the amount of 1370.00 and met the specification
On motion of Commissioner Tucker Seconded by Commissioner Spangler approved bid of
Lawrence Warta Motor Co. Carried.

and adopted; ayes vote (4) Nays (o), Mayor signed the resolution and it is numbered 2645.

4 Resolution for second reading entitled; curbing, guttering paving and grading of
Sdetz Drive with concrete 33 feet wide from back of curb to back of curb from the north
ine of Me rose Lane to the west line of Eastborough Road.
On motion of Commissioner Spangler seconded by Commissioner Banker resolution was read
nd adopted; Ayes vote (4) Nays (0), Mayor signed the resolution and it is numbered 2646.

4 Resolution for second reading entitled; paving and grading of Wisconsin Avenue with
oncrete 22 feet wide from the South line of Gypsum Avenue to the north line o ennifer
Hill Drive, and the paving and grading with concrete 22 feet wide from the south line of
Wisconsin Arenue to the east line of Greeley Avenue, the same being an intervening
connecting street.
On motion bly Commissioner Spangler seconded by Commissioner Banker resolution was read
and adopted; Ayes vote (4) Nays (�), Mayor signed the resolution and it is numbered 2647.

4 Ordinance for second reading entitled; An ordinance making a levy of taxes for general
revenue and other purposes by the City of Salina, Kansas for the year 1963.
On motion by Commissioner Spangler seconded by Commissioner Tucker the orinance was
read and adopted by sectionsand on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes (4)
Nays (0), Mayor signed the ordinance and it is numbered 6650. 1st reading August 7, 1962.
!Ordinance for second reading entitled; An ordinance providing for the amendment of
Zoning Ordinance Number 6613 and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and
providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and prescribing the proper
uses thereof.
On moti(bn by Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the ordinance was
read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes (4)

Motion by Spangler sec by Tucker that street be vacated subject to utility rights. carried

Motion by Tucker sec by Spangler that ordinance be placed on 1st reading for condemnation
of laid for White street, as the Engineer had filed a survey and description of bland so
required under resolutions number 26.3. /

On motion of Commissioner Tucker sec by Commissioner spangler the xm ordinance was read
and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following
vote was had; Ayes (4) Nays (0). Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A1132.
On motion of Commissioner Spangle the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
