Meeting was called to order by Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline, Bull, Banker, Spangler and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 24th, 1962 'read and approved. List of bids received for Sanitary Trunk Lines, in the City of Salirm, Kansas, April 24th, 1962 and referred to Wilson Engineering Company for checking and report to Board of Commissioners. ABC Construction Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma $517,687.10 Rhoades Construction Co., Inc. Newton, Kansas $5262316.00 W. B. Carter Construction Co. Wichita, Kansas $5213461.50 Wilmoth Construction Co. Inc., Salina, Kansas $540,384.50 Engineer's Estimate. $561,803.50 Motion by Bull, seconded by Tucker award contract to ABC Construction Company • in the amount of $517,687.10. Carried. Hearing on Resolution Number 2600 for improvements in Replant of Indian Rock Addition. No protests, written or oral. Motion by Bull seconded by Spangler approve. Carried. Letter from City Planning Cgmmission for rezoning Lots 15 to 23 Block 9, Belmont Addition, from "B" to "A"; Lots 13 and 14 Block 10, Belmont Addition from "C" to "B", and Lots 2 to 12 Block 10, Belmont Addition from "C" to "A". Motion by Bull seconded by Spangler accept and City Clerk advertise. Carried. Letter from City Planning Commission on Petition Number 2583 filed by George Laughlin for rezoning a parcel of land on South Broadway from "A" to "D". Motion by Tucker seconded by Bull accept and City Clerk publish Notice. Carried. Ordinance introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance repealing Ordi- nance Number 6614." Motion by Tucker seconded by Bull ordinance was read and adopted by sections and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Exline, Bull, Banker, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordi- nance and it is Numbered 6624.
