Meeting was called to order by Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline, Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting, Special Meeting and Zoning Board Meeting of April 10th, 1962 Were read and approved as read. Hearing Was held on Resolution Number 2599, Feasibility Report for improve- ments in West portion of Faith Addition. No protests. Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker -report accepted. Carried. Ordinance introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the vacation of a portion of Grand Boulevard in the Chicago Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas." Motion by Spangler, seconded by Bull ordinance was read and adopted by sec- tions and on its final adoption the roll Was called and the follovrng vote Was had; • Ayes: Exline, Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved. the ordinance and it is Numbered 6620. Ordinance inptrduced April 10, 1962. Ordinance introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance providing for the vacation of certain easements located in Lots Twelve to Eighteen inclusive in Block Three of Rolling Hills Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas." Motion by Spangler seconded: by Bull ordinance was read and adopted by section s and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Exline, Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordi- nance and it is Numbered 6621. Ordinance introduced April 10, 1962. City Manager reported on Petition Number 2581 for paving With 8 -inch asphalt on west side of Union Pacific Tracks, on Fourth Street from Minneapolis Avenue to Beloit Avenue. Motion by Spangler, seconded by Bull approve for Resolution. Carried. Letter from City Planning Commission recommending that Petition Number 2566 filed by Bell Telephone Employees Credit Union, for the rezoning of the North 72 feet of the East 100 feet of Lot 9, Surveyor's Plat "A" in Salina, Kansas from District "B" Duplex to District "DD" (Office) (property corner of Nlnth and Walnut ) be granted. Motion by Tucker seconded. by Bull accept and City Clerk publish Notice. Carried. Application for driveways 2-38 feet and 1-36 feet, 235 South Broadway, K;ox Industries Corporation. Motion by Spangler, seconded by Bull approve. Carried. Petition for curb -type sidewalks on certain lots in Block 20, Belmont Addition.
