called to order by Mayor Bull, the roll was called and Commissioners Bull, Banker,
Exline, Spangler and T ucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded.
T he minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 3, 1962 and Zoning Board Meeting
of April 3rd, 1962 were read and approved as read.
Report on Radio Bids.
Motion by Exline, seconded bySpangler award to Motorola Communications & Elec-
tronics, Inc. Carried.
Letter from City Planning Commission recommending that Petition No. 2565 for
rezoning East 1.10 of Lots 38, 40 and 42 Block 3, VanTrine's Addition to "D" be denied.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Exline accept and petition denied. Carried.
Letter from City Planning Commission recommending that Petition No. 2567 from

M. L* Michaelsen for rezoning Lot 11, Block 4, Schippel Addition to "D" be denied.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Exline refer back to Planning Commission. Carried.

amount of $5,046.92 for Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 416.

City Man ager asked approval to install a street light at Santa Fe Avenue and
South Street.
Motion by Bull seconded by Tucker approve. Carried.

Special Meet ing of the Board of Commissioners April 10th, 1962. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Bull, the roll was called and Commissioners Bull, Banker,Exline,
Spangler and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on the Appraisers Reports for the
construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Numbered 436, 438, 440 and 441.
No protests.
Motion by Tucker seconded by Exline Appraisers Reports approved as read.

Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals April 10th, 1962. Meeting was called to
order by Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissioners Exline, Bull, Banker,
Spangler and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded.
Heaei.ng was held on Notice of Appeal to the Board of Zoning Appeals, filed
by W.R. Pfenninger for Lot Ffontage Waiver for the West 50 feet of Lot 6, Block 2,
Faith Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, known as 1127 McAdams Road.
No protests.
Resolution introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution relating to the
authorizing of non-compliance with the Lot Frontage Requirements of Ordinance Number
5519, for the West 50 feet of Lot 6, Block 2, Faith Addition to the City of Salina,
Kansas, Saline County,Kansas, known as 1127 McAdams Road."
Motion of Bull, seconded by Spangler resolution adopted as read by the follow-
ing vote; Ayes: Exlirm, Banker, Bull, Spangler and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor
approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2603.
Application for Rear Yard Waiver for the Electrical Equipment Company 417 South
Clark Street for an addition to an office building.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Tucker approve for Hearing. Carried.
Application for Rear Yard Waiver for C. E. Melcher, 801 South Santa Fe Avenue,
for an addition to a one -family dwelling.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Tucker approve for Hearing. Carried.
