Regular Meetir,g of the Board of Commissioners December 12, 1961. Meeting
was called to order by Acting Mayor Exline, the roll was called and Commissiom rs Exline,
Banker and Spangler and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioners Bull and Tucker
absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 5, 1961 were read and approved
as read.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance pre-
scribing the eorporate.limits of said City, including land de -scribed in Ordinance
Numbers 6516 and 6525 and repealin Section 3 of Ordinance Number 6497."
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Exline, Banker and Spangler (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Bull and Tucker absent. Act-
ing Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6586.
Resolution introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution autr:orizing accept- •
ance from the Public Health Service, United States of America, of a Grant finder the
Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.0 446 et seq.)
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker, resolution adopted as read by the fol-
lowing vote; Ayes: Exlire, Banker and Spangler (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners
Bull and Tucker absent. Acting Mayor approved the res.blution and it is Numbered 2578.
A resolution was introduced and passed a titled: "A R solution authorizing
and approving an agreement between the City of Salina, Kansas, and the 9534th Air Force
Reserve Recovery Squadron relative to joint use and maintenance of equipment."
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker resolution adopted as read by the fol-
lowing vote; Ayes: Exline, Banker and Spangler (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners
Bull and Tucker absent. Acting Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2579.
Petition for rezoning Lot 10, Block 5, Holiday Addition to Salina, Kansas for
an office building, capacity eight people.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker refer to City Planning Commission.
Petition for street lights in Country Olub Heights Addition Number 3.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker, refer to City Manager.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker, ordinance was introduced for first
reading entitled: "An ordinance defining the duties of the Deputy Clerk of the City
Court and providing for bond and o th."

reading entitled: "An ordinance fixing the salaries of officers of the City Court of
the City of Salina, Kansas, amending 2-908 of the Code of the Cityof Salina, Kansas,
1960, and repealing said original section."

Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker, authorize resolution for Easement
to Highway Department on Thomas Park. Carried.
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker authorize City Manager to letter and
accept buildings and erect them for Air Force Reserve on Municipal Airport. Carried.
Motion by Spangler Board of Commissioners adjourned. I
