AUGUST 1, 1961
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners August 1, 1961. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Bull, the roll was called and Commission rs Bull, Banker, Exline and
Spangler and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Tucker absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 25th, 1961 were read and approved
as r ead.
No persons appeared to protest the rezoning of South 75 feet of Lots 8
and 9. Block 11 Fruitland Addition to "D" and Lots 1120,1 Block 1, Phillip's East
I Salina Addition to "D".
Motion by Spangler, seconded by Banker, Zoning Ordinance introduced for first
reading.

• Ordinance introcuced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance ratifying and
confirming a contract with the 0. D. Wilmoth Construction Company for the construe -
tion of certain improvements on certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas, and pro-
viding for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issuance
E and sale of bonds."
Motion by Exline, seconded by Spangler ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Bull, Banker, Exline and Spangler (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Tucker absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6558.

tion of®ertain improvements on certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas, and pro-
viding for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issuance
and sale of bonds."

City Manager reported on Petition Number 2512 for the vacation of that certain
easement situate between Lots 9 and 10,Block 1, in Key Acres Addition to Smoky Hill
Township (now City of Salina) Saline County, Kansas.
Motion by Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Banker approve. Carried.
City Manager reported on Petition Number 2513 for the vacation of the North
124.5 feet of that pertain street lying next of Lot 10, Block 1, Key Acres Addition to
Smoky Hill Township (now City of 5a.lina) Saline County,Kansas.
Motion by Span ler, seconded by Banker approve. Carried.
Appropriation Ordinance A-1080. Motion by Exline seconded by Banker.
