The minutes off the Regular Meeting of April 11th, 1961 were read and approved
as read.
Thirty days Hearing Notice up on rezoning the South 45 feet of Lot 26, and
all of Lot 28, in Block 6, Bonds Addition, Salina, Kansas from Zone "B" to Zone "C".
Motion by Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Banker, refer back to
City Planning and Zoning Commission with Protest Petition. \Motion carried.
Thiry -days Hearing Notice up on rezoning of Lots 36, 38 and 40 on Eighth
Street, in the Original Town of Salina, Kansas to Class "F".
No protests.
Motion by Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Banker, Zoning Ordi-
nance introduced for first readir/g �. Motion Carried.

Following letters received from City Planning Commission:
RecommendinXthat Petition Number 2459 filed by A.L.Swander for the use of
Lots 13 and 14, Block 2, Tucker Park Addition to the City of Salin},Kansas, with the
exception of the South 80 feet of said lots for a Trailer Park be denied.
Motion by Commissioner Spangler and seconded by Commissioner Exline accept
and deny petition. Motion carried.

"A Resolution relatiig to the curbing, guttering., paving and grading of East
Ash Street with concrete, thirty-three (33) feet wide from back of curb to back of
curb, from the East side of Ohio Street tothe East line of Riverside Drive."
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Spangler, resolution
adopted as read by the following vote: Ayes: Bull, Banker, Exliree, Spangler and Tuck-
er (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2497.
"A Resolution relating to the curbing, guttering, paving and grading of the
East side of Fourth Street with concrete, Twenty-two (22) feet wide,from edge of
slab to back of curb, from the south line of Republic Avenue to the north line of
Beloit Avenue."
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Exline, resolution
adopted as read by the following vote; Ayes: Bull, Banker, Exli ng, Spangler and Tucker
(5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2198.
"A Resolution relating to the paving and gradin of South Second Street with
asphalt, thirty-six (36) feet wide, including Center Parking, from the South line of
Iron Avenue to the Smoky Bill River."
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Spangler resolution
adopted as read by the following vote; Ayes: Bull, Banker, Exlim, Spangler and Tuck-
er (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2499.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance creat-
ing and defining a certain lateral sanitary sewer district in the City of Salina,
Kansas, designated as Lateral S"nitary Sewer District Number 440, and providing for the
construction of a lateral sanitary sewer in said Lateral Sanitary Sewer District Number
440 so created and providing for the paymelit of the cost thereof and forthe levying
of special assessments against the property in said district for the payment of the
cost of such construction and for the issuing of bonds to pay the cost thereof."

Mayor appointed Donald Tucker and Gaylor Spangler, City's representatives to
City -County Health Board.
