Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 31, 1961. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Bull,
Exline, Jaeger and Spangler and Acting City Attorney Bengtson responded. City Attorney
Barta absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of.January 24th, 1961 and Zoning Board Meet-
ing of January 24th, 1961 were read and approved as read.
Commissioner Jaeger moved that the following resolutions be introduced for first
reading:
Resurfacing Ohio Street from Ash Street to Iron Avenue.

Resurfacing Walnut Street from Fifth Street to Missouri Pacific Railroad.

On motion of Commissioner Exline resolution was introduced for first reading
entitled: A resolution relating to curbing, guttering and paving Barney Street from
Broadway Boulevard to Grand Avenue."

On motion of Commissioner Bull a resolution was introduced for first reading
entitled: "A Resolution relating to curbing, guttering and paving South Second Street
from a point 23 feet north of the South line of Lot 15, Block 71 Hutchinson's Addition
to South line of Lot 19 of said Block."

On motion of Commissioner Jaeger a resolution was introduced for first reading
for the construction of a sidewalk adjacent to West 30 feet of Lot 14, Atherton and
f Phillip's Addition. /

Commissioner Bull moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading, creating
and defining Lateral Sanitary Sewer District Number 437 and providing for the construc-
tion of said sewer. /

Driveway Application presented from Sandy's Drive -In 100 West Jewell Avenue.
Commissioner Jaeger moved to grant additional eight feet on Alley Drive.
Application for Cereal Malt Beverage License received from:
Bob Burgard d/b/a "Zebra Bar" 146 South Fifth Street.
Application approved by Commissioner Jaeger.
A petition was presented for the rezoning of Lots 38, and 40 on Eighth Street,
Original Town of Salina, Kansas to Zone "F".
• Commissioner Jaeger moved to refer to City Planning Commission.
A petition was presented for a Trailer Court on Lot 8, Surveyor's P"at 31.
Commissioner Bull moved to refer to City Planning Commission.
