Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 10, 1961. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Bull,
Exline and Jaeger and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner McCune deceased.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 3, 1961 were read and approved
as read.
Letter from City Planning Commission on Petition Number 2421 filed by Wm. 0.
Walker for the rezoning of Lots 1,20,8,9,10 Plat 1, Lamer's First Sub -Division of
the City of Salina, Kansas, Kansas from "A" to "C", referred to City Attorney.
Commissioner Bull moved to refer to City Attorney to check and report. Carried.
Commissioner Jaeger moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading enti
"An ordinance providing for the condemnation of certain property for the purpose of
providing necessary land and easements, permits and rights for the use of the City of
Salina, Kansas, in the developing, constructing, maintaining and operating of a Flood
Control System f or said City of Salim., Kansas, and r epeal ing Ordinance Number 6103."

Sewer Improvement Project was discussed.
Mr. Waeckerle from Lucas, Eisen and Waeckerle and Mr. Littooy from First
Securities, of Wichita, Kansas, were present.
Decision was held over for another week.
Letter was received from Harold Chase on Petition Num er 21127 for vacation
of alley between Broadway and Woodland and Eleventh Street andT welfth Street.
Commissioner Jaeger moved to defer action until Harold Chase can appear.
Alley Vacation was approved at the last meeting for a Vacation Ordinance, which
could be introduced today or held up as per above letter.
Certificate and Plat for Mayfair Addition.
Commissioner Bull moved toxefer to City Planning Commission.
Petition for improvements in North twenty acres of Mayfair Addition.
Commissioner Jaeger mo -.ed to refer to City Manager.
Petition for inclusion of balance of Belmont Addition into City limits.
Commissioner Jaeger moved to refer to City Planning Commission.
Petition for all services for the balance of Belmont Addition not serviced.
Commissioner Bull moved to refer to City Manager.
Petitionfor sidewalks in Key Acres Addition.

On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
