NOVEMBER 22, 1960
Regular Meetin of the Board of Commission rs November 22, 1960. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Bull,
Ex -line and Jaeger and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner McCune absent.
The minutes of the Regulax- Meeting of November 15th, 1960 and Board of Zoning
Appeals Meeting of November 15th, 1960 were zead and approved ars read.
An ordinance was introdl.ced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance author-
izing and providing for the issuance of Improvement Bonds of the City of Salina., Kansas,
all in the sum of $452,725.10, to pay the cost of improving certain streets in said City
to be designated as Series Number P-184."
On motion of Commissioner Bull the ordinance was r ead and adop ed by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called a d the following vote was had; Ayes:
Ramsey, Bull, Exline and Jaeger (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner McCune absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6192.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance author-
izing and providing for the issuance of Improvement Bonds of the City of Salina, Kansas
all in the sum of $551,385.61, to pay the cost of improving certain streets in said
City to be designated as Series Number P-185."
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinancewas read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption t% a roll was called and the following vote was had: Ayes:
Ramsey, Bull, Exline and Jaeger (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner McCune absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6193.
An ordinance was introduced for secondzeading entitled: "An ordinaee ratifying
and confirming a contract with Brown and Brown Construction CompaWfor the construc-
tion of Oakdale Ave ue and North Ohio Street Smoky Hill river crossings, as designated
and authorized by Resolution Numbers 2328 and 2329, and providing for the issuance of
Temporary Notes to pay the cost thereof pending the issuance and sale of bonds."
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was ca3Add and the following vote was had;
Ayes: Ramsey, Bull, Exline and Jaeger (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner MdCune absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6494.
A Resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution providing for
the issuance of $300,000.00 Off -Street Parking temporary notes."
On motion of Commissioner Bull the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Bull,
Ex1.ine and Jaeger (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner McCune absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2135•
City Engineer filed the following estimates:
Number 1. Oscar M. Wilbur Sidewalk Job No. 408 $ 1.,251-45
Approved by Commissioner Bull.

An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an ap-
propriation for the payment of certain. claims."
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the oxdinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Ramsey, Bull, Exline and Jaeger (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner McCune absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-1013.
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the Board of COMM4asioners adjourned.
