On motion of Commissioner Bull the resolution was adopted asread and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Bull
and Fxline (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2427.
"A resolution determining necessity of and directing that the owner or owners
of certain lots construct, in compliance with plans and specifications of the City
Engineer, a sidewalk abutting said lots within thirty days of the adoption and publica-
tion hereof, and providing that in the event the owner or owners fail to do, that the
City of Salina, shall proceed to construct or cause to be constructed said sidewalks,
and that the total cost thereof shall beassessed against such lot or lots which such
sidewalk shall abut as other special assessments."
On motion of Commissioner Bull the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Bull

the resolution and it is Numbered 21.28.
"A resolution relating to the paving and grading of Alley with concrete, Six-
teen (16) feet gide, first north of Wayne Avenue from Roach Street to Lewis Street."
On motion of Commissioner Exline the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Bull
and Exline (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2129.
I An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance rati-
fying and confirming a contract with Salina Asphalt, Inc., for the construction of
Th Fifth Street Levee Crossing as designated and authorized by Resolution Number
and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending
the issuance and sale of bonds."
On motion of Commissioner Fxline the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and t e following vote was had; Ayes:
Ramsey, Bull and Exline (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6186.

Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners October 25, 1960. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Bull
and Exline and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioners McCune and Jaeger absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 18th, 1960 and Board of Zoning
Meeting of October 18th, 1960 were a ead and approved as read.
City Planning and Zoning letter on petition for rezoning Lots 1, 2, 3, Block 3,
Phillips East Salina Addition to "D".
Commissioner Exline moved to call a Joint Meeting of the City Planning Commis-
sion and Board of Commissioners regarding this petition and letter.
Bids that were received on sale of South 122 feet of the West 64 feet of the
North 1/2 Lot 90, Santa Fe Avenue, in the Original Town of Salina, Kansas , in the

of Crawford Avenue to a line which is the extension of the north line of Lot 15, Block 4,

"A Resolution relating tothe paving and grading of Antrim Ayenue with concrete,
Thirty-three (33) feet wide from back of curb to back of curb, from the west side of
Tenth Street to west line of Eleventh Street."

On motion of Commissioner Bull the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:

Mayor approved the Ordinance and it is Numbered 6187.
A resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution providing
for sub -grade modification and double bituminous surfacing of North Ohio Street Flood
Control System Levee."
On motion of Commissioner Bull the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; ayes: Ramsey, Bull
and Exline (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2430.
City Engineer filed Plans and Specifications for North Ohio Street Flood Control
System Levee Crossing.
Approved by Commissioner Exline and City Clerk instructed to advertise for bids
to be received up to and including November lst, 1960, at four o'clock P. M.
Commissioner Exline moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading provid-
ing for the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 428.

On motion of Commissioner Exlino the City Clerk was instructed to advertise
for bids to be received op November 1960, at four o'clock P. M. for the sale of
the following City of Salina General Improvement Bonds:

Letter received from Police Department relating to limit of parking on the south
