Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners October 11, 1960. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Bull,
Exline and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 4th, 1960 and Zoning Board
Meeting of October lith were3ead and approved as read.

An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance provid-
ing for licensing the operation of mobile homes and mobile home courts and repealing
Section 25-103, sub -section 5, Ordinance Number 6369."
On motion of Commissioner Bull the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Ramsey, Bull and Exline (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6485.
A resolution was introduced and passed; approving Sewage Improvement Plans •
prepared by Wilson &Compan{y, Engineers, Salina, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Exline the resolution was adopted as read and on
its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey,
Bull and Exlire (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent. Mayor ap-
proved the resolution and it is Numbered 2420.
City Engineer filed Plans and Specifications for Sidewalk Job Number 408.
Approved by Commissioner Exline and City Clerk instructed to advertise for
bids to be received October 18th, 1960 at four o'clock P. M.
City Engineer filed Plans and Specifications for North Fifth Street Levee
Crossing, in compliance with Resolution Number 2416.
Approved by Commissioner Bull and City Clerk instructed to advertise for bids
to b e received October 18th, 1960 at four o'clock P. M.
Letter received from Salina Garden Club to preserve the trees on City acquired
parking lots on Eighth Street.
Commissioner Bull moved to accept and file.
Petition presented for curbing, guttering and paving Stack Street from
Missouri to Indiana.
Commissioner Exline moved to refer petition to City Manager.
House Mover's Bond received from Theron Buehler. •
Approved by Commissioner Bull.
Plumber and Gas Fitter's Bond received from Arthur H.Bockum, d/b/a "Art Dockum
Plumbing and Heating".
Approved by Commissioner Exline.
Concrete Construction Bond received from Leonard H. Nienke.
Approved by Commissioner Bull.
Antenna Agreement entered into between City of Salina and Fred Wallis Company.
Approved by Commissioner Bull.
Antenna Agreement entered into between City of Salina and General Communications
Company.
Approved by Commissioner Bull.
Application for Cereal Malt beverage License received from George Norwood Jones
d/b/a "Buffet" 217 North Santa FeAvenue.
Commissioner Exline moved that application be approved and license granted.
Harold Chase,Attorney, appeared regarding Dr. Olson property (5 Magnolia Road)
within the City limits. •
Commissioner Exline moved to refer to City Attorney.

Letter received from Bucher and Willis regarding sale of South 12 feet, 6 inches
of the West 64 feet of the North 1/2 Lot 90, Santa Fe Avenue in the Original Town of
Salina, Kansas. (Raplee Building)
Commissioner Bull moved to advertise for bids October 18th, 1960 at four o'clock
P. M.
On motion of Commissioner Exline the Board of Commissioners adjourned.

Meeting of Board of Zoning Appeals, October 11th, 1960. Meeting was called to
order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissioners Ramsey, Bull and Exline
and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioners Jaeger and McCune absent.
Letter was received from Dick Preston, City Planner, on Building Application
for waiver of side yard requirements for Mr. Dick Senner of 133 Purdue Street, known
as Lot 1, Block 5, Worsley Addition.
Commissioner Bull moved to approve for Hearing, October 18th, 1960 at four
o'clock P. M.
On motion of Commissioner Bull Board of Zoning Appeals adjourned.
