Commissioner Jaeger moved to accept and petition denied.
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance con-
demning certain land within the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas,for the public
use of the City of Salim, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Bull the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Ramsey, Bull, Exline and Jaeger (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner McCune absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6476.

On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes:

approved the ordinance and it is Numbered 6477.
City Engineer filed Plans and Specifications for the curbing, guttering and/or
paving certain streets provided for in Engineer Job Number 404.
Commissioner Bull moved to accept and City Clerk advertise for bids to be received
up to and including Tuesday, September 6th, 1960 at four o'clock P. M.
A resolution was introduced and passed authorizing M. L. Michaelsen, his repre-
sentatives and assigns to use the riverward stability berm as a haul road south of Cloud
Avenue, for the purpose of trucking dirt from the area bounded on the east and west by
the Smoky Hill River Cut -Off Number 2, and the levee, respectively, and on the north and
south by the abandoned Smoky Hill River Channel.
On motion of Commissioner Bull the resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Bull,
Exline and Jaeger (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner McCune absent. Mayor ap;r oved the
resolution and it is Numbered 241.0.
