JULY 12, 1960
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners July 12, 1960. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commissiom rs Ramsey, Exline,
Jaeger and McCune and City Attorney Barta responded. Commissioner Bull absent.

The minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 5th, 1960 werezead and approved
Bids received on Off -Street Parking lots.
Bids tabulated by Engineer.
All over estimate.
Commissioner McCune moved to reject all bids and readvertise for bids for July
26th, 1960.
Hearing on Ohio Street Assessments.

Commissioner McCune moved to table for two weeks,for Final Approval.
A resolution was introduced for second reading entitled: "A Resolution relat-
ing to the paving and grading of Oakdale Avenue with asphalt, twenty-eight (28) feet
wide fromtoe of gutter to toe of gutter from t e north line of Elm Street to the north
line of Lot 21, Block 1, Riverside Park Addition."
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; byes: Ramsey,
Exline, McCune and Jaeger (4) Nays:. (0) Commissioner Bull absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2395•
Resolution introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution releasing certain
easement."
On motion of Commissioner Exline resolution was adopted as read and on its
final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey,
Exline, Jaeger and McCune (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Bull absent. Mayor approved
the resolution and it is Numbered 2396.
An ordinance was introduced for first reading providing for the cancellation
and deletion of Lateral Sanitary Sewer 3/81, Ordinance Number 6310.

Commissioner McCune moved to zefer to City Planning Commission.
Petition presented for paving Indiana Avenue f roan Gypsum Avenue to Stack.

Combination Plumbers and Gas Fitters Bond received from Boy Lee and Donald
Sterling, d/b/a Lee Plumbing.
• Approved by Commissioner McCune.
Concrete Construction Bond received from Frank Gleason.
Approved by Commissioner Jaeger.
Commissioner Exline moved that ordinance be introduced for first reading
providing for Salina Public Building Improvements. (/ /

A resolution was introduced and passed authorizing Mayor to sign application
to State Board of Health for Key Acres.
On motion of Commissioner McCune the resolution was adopted as read and on
its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ram-
sey , Exline, Jaeger and McCune (4) Commissioner Bull absent. Mayor approved the
resolution and it is Numbered 2397.
Mayor appointed Jim McKim and Mayor of City, to Civic Planning Commission;
also Don Preston, City Planner, as ex -officio member.
Appointments confirmed by Commissioner Jaeger.
Mayor appointed Jim Knight to Blue Jay Park Cottee, replacing C. J. Ansel.
Appointment approved by Commissioner McCune.
Hearing on Notice in Resolution Number 2164.
No protests.
Commissioner McCune moved to accept.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an ap-
propriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinance was read and adopted by sections
and on its final adoption the rolls called and the following vote was had; Ayes:
Ramse , Exline, Jaeger and McCune (4) Nays: (0) Commissioner Bull absent. Mayor
approved the ordinance and it is Numbered A-1026.
