Commissioner Exline moved that petition be defined. No persons appeared to protest the rezonin of the following property: For the operation of a Trailer Court tobe located on Lots 19, 21 and 23, Block 1, Wellington's Addition. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Ramsey, the roll was called and Commmissiours Ramsey, Bull, Exline, Jaeger and McCune and City Attorney Barta responded. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 31, 1960 were read and approved as read. Pursuant to Notice published in the Salina Journal bids were received for the construction of certain sewers provided for in Engine er Job 406, as follows: C. N. McCollum Construction Company $59,639.00 0. D. Wilmoth Construction Comapany $68,933.00 Doerfler-Krapff Corporation $74,934.50 Engineer's Estimate. $65,27.1.50 • Commissioner Jaeger moved to award contract to C. N. McCollum Construction Company as per bid submitted in the amount of $59,639.00 and checks returned to unsuccessful bidders. McArthur, d/b/a Jimmie's Canteen, 121 East Walnut Street. Approved by Commissioner McCune. Approved by Commissioner Bull. Vacation of land dedicated as East Fourth Street, between Cloud and Albert. Commissioner Exline refer to City Attorney to prepare Ordinance. A resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution declaring certain property committed for roadway purposes." On motion of Commissioner McCune the resolution was adopted asread and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had; Ayes: Ramsey, Bull, Exline, Jaeger and McCune (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the resolution and it is Numbered 2365. An ordinance was: introduced and passed entitled.: "An ordinancemaking an appro- priationfbr the payment of certain claims."
