COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS, REGULAR MEETING
An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance rati-
fying and confirming a contract with the Brown and Brown construction Company for the
construction of certain improvements on certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas,
and providing for the issuance of Temporary Notes to pay the cost thereof pending the
issuance and sale of bonds."

An ordinance was introduced for second reading entitled: "An ordinance for the
vacation of a certain alley within the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Exline the ordinance was read and adopted by sections

therein and thereby adopted and providing forthe rezoning of certain property within
the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof."
On motion of Commissioner Jaeger the ordinance was read and adopted by sec-
tions and on its final adoption the roll was called and the following vote was had;
Ayes: McCune, Bull, Exline, Jaeger and Ramsey (5 ) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is Numbered 6428.
No persons appeared to protest the rezoning of Lots 29 and 31, in Block 3,

structing Lateral Sanitary Sewers Numbered 393 and 394 (Job 379).
