Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners August 28, 1967. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Rundquist, the roll was called and Commissioners Rundquist,
Casebeer, Stark, City Attorney Bengtson and City Manager Olson responded. Commissioners
Waddell and Yost absent.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 21, 1967 were read and approved.

Bids were received on Job 483 for Schilling Water Main.

On a motion by Commissioner Casebeer, seconded by Commissioner Stark, the bid was awarded j
to P & H Construction Company. j
On a motion by Commissioner Casebeer, seconded by Commissioner Stark, the
Contract Ordinance for Job 483 was introduced for first reading.

The City Manager recommended the City Commission defer any action at this time
on the license fee for pawn shops. The City Commission will review all license fees later j
this year. j

A petition was filed by G. F. and Lucille Lott, 404 West Claflin, making an appeal
of a decision rendered by the Board of Building Appeals concerning permissive height of a
sideyard fence (hedge). On a motion by Commissioner Casebeer, seconded by Commissioner
Stark, a decision was deferred until the meeting of September 11, 1967, for a legal opinion j
by the City Attorney, whether or not the City Commi4k-on a uld ,a4a,� ,o.n this appeal.
