COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS - REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS' ROOM
Salina, Kansas
February 20, 1967
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 20, 1967. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Waddell, the roll was called and Commissioners Waddell, Casebeer, Exline
Rundquist, City Attorney Bengtson and City Manager Olson responded. Commissioner Stark
absent.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 13, 1967, were read and approved.
City Engineer filed Final Estimate - Job 473 - Water Main in Indian Rock Park -
Brown and Brown, Inc., in the amount of $8,773.53. On a motion by Commissioner Exline,
seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the estimate was approved.
The Mayor proclaimed Engineering Week, the week of February 20th.
Petition Number 2935 was filed for the rezoning of the South 2 of Lot 16, Block 4,
Moose Addition to District "D". On a motion by Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by
Commissioner Casebeer, the petition was referred to the Salina City Planning Commission.
Don Williams and Larry Gutsch appeared regarding sidewalks in Country Club Addition
Number 4. On a motion by Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer,
the sidewalks would not have to be installed on West Hillside Terrace at this time.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "AN ORDINANCE making an appropriat
for the payment of certain claims." (bills)
On a motion by Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the ordinance
was adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes:
Waddell, Casebeer, Exline, Rundquist (4). Nays: (0). Commissioner Stark absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-1367. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation
for the payment of certain claims." (payroll)
On a motion by Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the ordinance;
was adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes:
Waddell, Casebeer, Exline, Rundquist, (4). Nays: (0). Commissioner Stark absent.
Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-1368. Carried.
On a motion by Commissioner Rundquist, the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
