COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS - REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS' ROOM
Salina, Kansas
November 28, 1966
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners November 28, 1966. Meeting was called to
order by Mayor Waddell, the roll was called and Commissioners Waddell, Casebeer, Exline,
Rundquist, City Attorney Bengtson and City Manager Olson responded. Commissioner Stark
absent.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 21, 1966 were read and approved.
Bids were received on Aerial Ladder:
0. J. Watson Company, Wichita, Kansas $1,692.72
Ginder Hydraulic, Salina, Kansas 2,193.30
National Truck Eq. Co., Kansas City, Mo. 3,300.00
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the bid was awarded
to 0. J. Watson Company, if it meets the specifications. Carried.
Bids were received on 5 Refuse Trucks:
Jim Sullivan Chevrolet $21,801.15 I
Harmon Truck & Implement Co., Inc. 23,110.50

Sid Bacon Motor Company 23,937.30
Long McArthur, Inc. 28,437.50
On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer, the bid was awarded
to Jim Sullivan Chevrolet, if they meet the specifications. Carried.
A Hearing on Resolution Number 2911, regarding structures at 1241 North Santa Fe
(Lot 32, Block 23, E. M. I.) was to be held. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded
by Commissioner Exline, the hearing was extended to January 9, 1967. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer, the City Limit
Ordinance was introduced for first reading. ((Carried. /

On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer, the City Clerk
was instructed to advertise for bids to be received on December 12, 1966 for One 2 ton
pickup for the Water and Sewerage Department (Trade-in One 1954 2 ton pickup)
On motion of Commissioner Exline, the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
