COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS - REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS' ROOM

October 17, 1966
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners October 17, 1966. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Waddell, the roll was called and Commissioners Waddell, Casebeer, Rundquist
Stark, City Attorney Bengtson and City Manager Olson responded. Commissioner Exline absent.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 10, 1966 were read and approved.
A request was received from Donald Tucker for a refund on Motor Fuel Taxes from July 1st
to October lst, 1966. 3,738.3 gallons @.05 = $186.91. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist,
seconded by Commissioner Casebeer, the request was approved.
Petition Number 2913 was filed for the installation of a street light at the corner
of Lewis and Prescott Road. On motion of Commissioner Casebeer, seconded by Commissioner
Rundquist, the petition was referred to the City Manager to be checked.
Petition Number 2914 was filed for sidewalks on the north side of Republic from 5th
to Front; West side of Third Street from Lamar to Republic; North side of Wilson Street
from Fifth Street to Front; West side of Front Street from Bond Street to Republic.
On motion of Commissioner Stark, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the petition was referre
to the City Manager to be checked.
Larry Gutsch and others were present from Special Downtown Development Committee of the
Chamber of Commerce, urging the Commissioners to initiate the preparation of a Community
Renewal Plan.
Aii ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation
for the payment of certain claims." (bills)
On motion of Commissioner Stark, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the ordinance was
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes: Waddell,
Casebeer, Rundquist, Stark (4). Nays: (0). Commissioner Exline absent. Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is numbered A-1349. Carried.

On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Stark, the ordinance was
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes: Waddell,
Casebeer, Rundquist, Stark (4). Nays: (0). Commissioner Exline absent. Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is numbered A-1350. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
