12-20-1965 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS - REGULAR MEETING 1 Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 20, 1965. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stark, the roll was called and Commissioners Stark, Casebeer, Exline, Rundquist, Waddell, City Attorney Bengtson and City Manager Olson responded. The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 13, 1965 were read and approved. City Manager checked bids received on Fire Truck Equipment. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer, the bid was awarded to American Fire j Apparatus Company, in the amount of $9,868.95. Carried. City Manager checked bids received on Motor Grader. On motion of Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Exline, the bid was awarded to Berry Tractor and Equipment Company, in the amount of $14,815.00. Carried. City Manager reported on Petition 2867 for a street light in the 1800 block of South 4th, Street, and recommended the petition be denied. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer the recommendation was accepted and the petition was denied. Carried. Concrete Construction Bond was filed by 0. B. McCabe and 0. F. Currier. On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the Bond was approved. Carried. Cereal Malt Beverage license applications for 1966. On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Waddell 41 applications were approved. Application Numbers 1 to 28 and 30 to 42. Carried. Melvin Mobile Homes appeared regarding Natural Gas hookup for sales units. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Waddell, the matter was referred to the City Attorney to write an amendment to the ordinances. Carried. An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims." (payroll) On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Waddell, the ordinance was adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes: Stark, Casebeer, Exline, Rundquist, Waddell (5). Nays: (0). Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered A-1305. Carried. On motion of Commissioner Waddell, the Board of Commissioners adjourned. H. E. Peterson, City Clerk
