Meeting was called to order by Mayor Stark,the roll was called and Commissioners Stark, Casebeer, Rundquist, City Attorney Bengtson, and City Manager Olson responded. Commissioners Exline and Waddell absent. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 16, 1965 were read and approved. Bids were received on mechanized card storage and retrieval machine filing system for Water and Sewage Department. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissionelt Casebeer, the bid was awarded to Salina Office Supply for $5,794.00 plus Sales Tax as low bidder. Carried. Bids were received on Job 456. Asphalt resurfacing Ninth Street, Ash to North; and Claflin Street, Fourth to Ninth. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer the petition was referred to the City Engineer to file a Feasibility Report on August 30th, 1965. Carri d. Petition Number 2850 was filed by Dr. Frank W. Shaffer for the installation of a street light at Ralph and Roach Streets. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Casebeer, the petition was referred to the City Manager for checking, Carried.; 1 i A Change of Address on Beer application was filed by Paul Gonzales, Treasurer of G. I. Forum (Veterans Non-profit) from 225 North Santa Fe Avenue to 157 North Santa Fe Ave.' On motion of Commissioner Casebeer, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist, the change of address was approved. Carried. Curbing Permit # 6095 - Standard Oil Company - 2200 Block North Ninth Street - 2 driveway cuts on Diamond Drive 15 x 40. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded 9 by Commissioner Casebeer the cuts were approved. Carried. A motion by Commissioner Casebeer, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist to approve the taking of bids on Accounting Machine for City Clerk's Office. September 13, 1965 is the date set to receive bids.
