03-01-1965 MinutesCOMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS - REGULAR MEETING Petition Number 2816 for Sanitary Sewer to serve Lots 6 and 7, Block 5, Golden Belt Sub -division was checked and found to have 100% signers. On motion of Commissioner Spangler seconded by Commissioner Bull an ordinance was introduced for first reading creating a lateral sanitary sewer district to serve the described property. Carried. Ordinance Passed: ��'"� �' �F "` b ,� Number: Petition Number 2817 was filed by Harry Banker for the rezoning of Lots 1 to 7, Block 6, Lots 17 to 22, Block 4, Moose Addition and Lot 13, Block 5, Banker Addition from Zone "A" to Done "D". On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Bull the petition was referred to the City Planning Commission. Carried. Petition Number 2818 was filed for a street light on Maple between Haskett and Hageman. On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline the petition was referred to the City Manager to be checked. Carried. Petition Number 2819 was filed by Marvin Zeigler for the paving with asphalt the west 2 of Ohio Street from the north line of Bonnie Ridge Addition to the south line of Bonnie Ridge 1 Addition. On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline the petition was referred to the City Manager to be checked. Carried. Gas Fitters Bond was received from Sears, Roebuck and Company. On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline the Bond was approved. Carried. U.S. 81 Highway Sign proposal submitted by Transportation Committee.of Chamber of Commerce. On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Bull to approve • 81 Highway South on Broadway Boulevard and 135 as By-pass. Carried. On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Bull a Resolution favoring j Senate Bill 167-196 Refunding Revenue Bonds was introduced for first reading. I A Resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution authorizing and providing for the issuance of Temporary Notes of the City of Salina, Kansas, in the sum of $46,185.85,) to pay a portion of the cost of improving certain streets in the City of Salina to be designated as Series PT -73 pending the issuance of bonds to pay the cost of said work." On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline the resolution was j approved as read and the following vote was had: Ayes: Rundquist, Bull, Exline, Spangler. (4). Nays: (0). Meeting was called to order by Mayor Rundquist, the roll was called and Commissioners Rundquist, Bull, Exline, Spangler and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioner Stark absent. The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 15, 1965 were read and approved. 20 Day Notice of Hearing up on the Rezoning of: Lot 2, Block 8, Replat of Garden Home Addition from Zone "D" to "DD". Lot 11, Block 8, Replat of Garden Home Addition from "A" to "DD". Lot 10, Block 1, Talley Addition from "F" to "B". Lots 11 to 22, Inclusive, Block 1, Talley Addition from "F" to "A". Lot 8 and Lot 9 in Surveyor's Plat "G" from "B" to "D". Lot 54, Block 6, Replat of Edgemere Addition from "A" to "D". No protests written or oral were filed.
