COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS - REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM

February 15, 1965
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 15, 1965. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Rundquist, the roll was called and Commissioners Rundquist, Bull, Spangle ,
Stark and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioner Exline absent.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 8, 1965 were read and approved.
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the Audit Contract
for 1965 with A. H. Leckband and Company was approved. Carried.
Petition Number 2816 was filed by Sym Spencer for Sanitary Sewer to serve Lots 3,4,6,7
EBlock 5, Golden Belt Addition. On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner
! Spangler the petition was referred to the City Manager to be checked. Carried.
A Gas Fitters Bond was received from Paul A. Wearing. On motion of Commissioner Stark
seconded by Commissioner Spangler the bond was approved. Carried.
Cereal Malt Beverage application was received from David E. West, for Dee's Tavern
as 124 East Iron Avenue. On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Spangleri
the application was approved. Carried.

A letter was received from Central Kansas Sand, Inc. regarding expansion of their
property near flood control property. On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner
Spangler the letter was referred to the City Manager and City Attorney. Carried. II

An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation
rfor the payment of certain claims."

On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the ordinance was
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was
had: Ayes: Rundquist,
Bull, Spangler, Stark (4). Nays: (0). Commissioner Exline absent.
Mayor approved the
ordinance and it is numbered A-1260. Carried.
