COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS - REGULAR MEETING
COMMISSIONERS ROOM
Salina, Kansas
January 11, 1965
Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 11, 1965. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Rundquist, the roll was called and Commissioners Rundquist, Spangler,
Stark and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioners Bull and Exline absent.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 4, 1965 were read and approved.
A motion was made by Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark to
authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids on Job 450, Sewer and Water from Euclid St.
north to City Limits, to be received January 25th, 1965. Carried.
Notice of Hearing up on the amending of Section 11, District D, of Zoning Ordinance
Number 6613. On motion of Commissioner Stark, seconded by Commissioner Spangler an
ordinance was introduced for first reading for the amendment of said section. Carried.
Ordinance Number aJ Number:
A resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution adopting the comprehi
City Plan for the City of Salina, Kansas, as prepared by Wilson and Company of Salina,
Kansas."
On motion of Commissioner Stark, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the resolution wase
approved as read and the following vote was had: Ayes: Rundquist, Spangler, Stark (3).
Nays: (0). Commissioners Bull and Exline absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it
is numbered 2809. Carried.
A resolution was introduced and passed entitled: "A Resolution designating City
Connecting links in State Highway System."
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the resolution was,
approved as read and the following vote was had: Ayes: Rundquist, Spangler, Stark (3).
Nays: (0). Commissioners Bull and Exline absent. Mayor approved the resolution and it
is numbered 2810. Carried.

On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the applications were
approved. Carried.

On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the applications were
approved. Carried.
Petition Number 2813 was filed by Robert Eugene Nurnberg against the rezoning of Lot $4,
Block 6, Replat of Edgemere Addition to District "D". On motion of Commissioner Spangler
seconded by Commissioner Stark the petition was referred to the City Planning Commission.
Carried.
Petition Number 2812 was filed by Mrs. Carl A. Lindgren against the rezoning of the
East 100 feet of Lot 9, Surveyor's Plat G to District "D". On motion of Commissioner
Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the petition was referred to the City Planning
Commission. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriatio4
for the payment of certain claims." i
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the ordinance was
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes: Rundquist,
Spangler, Stark (3). Nays: (0). Commissioners Bull and Exline absent. Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is numbered A-1255. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an appropriation}
for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the ordinance was
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes: Rundquist,
Spangler, Stark (3). Nays: (0). Commissioners Bull and Exline absent. Mayor approved
the ordinance and it is numbered A-1256. Carried.

Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners January 11, 1965. Meeting was called
to order by Mayor Rundquist, the roll was called and Commissioners Rundquist, Spangler,
Stark and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioners Bull and Exline absent.
Meeting was held for the purpose of acting on the appraisers report for Job 448.

On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the report was
approved as read. Carried.
