Meeting was called to order by Mayor Rundquist, the roll was called and Commissioners Rundquist, Bull, Exline, Spangler, Stark and City Attorney Bengtson responded. The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 21, 1964 were read and approved. Hearing on Special Assessments on Job 430, North Ohio Street Improvements (extended from December 21, 1964) was taken up. Resolution Number 2693; there being no further protests or changes in the proposed assessments as filed, Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline made a motion that they be approved. Carried. On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline an ordinance was introduced for first reading for Special assessments for Job 430, Resolution Number 2693. t Ordinance Passed: �1 T �i� Number: 4 � An ordinance was introduced for Third Reading entitled: "An ordinance designating the routes for the operation of the motor buses within the City of Salina, Kansas under the franchise granted to Donald L. Tucker; amending section 1 of Ordinance Number 6803; and repealing said original section." i On motion of Commissioner Spangler, seconded by Commissioner Stark the ordinance was adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had: Ayes: Rundquist, Bull, Exline, Spangler, Stark (5). Nays: (0). Mayor approved the ordinance and it is numbered 6840. Carried. Ordinance was introduced for first reading December 14, 1964. Ordinance Passed: `-� (^ Number: Y C/ - y On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Bull an ordinance was introduced for first reading fixing the salaries of the officers of the City Court and amending Ordinance 6688. Carried. f Ordinance Passed: `?� [ _( h� Number: Petition Number 2800 was checked for the paving of Fourth Street from Pacific to Antrim, and Hamilton Avenue from Fifth to Third Streets and found to 33% signers, and was referred back to the petitioner. Appraisers report was filed for Job 448, Sewers; Main Sanitary Sewer AK to serve Blocks 5, 12, 13, 14, Riker Manor and Laterals 493 and 497. On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Bull the report was accepted and the City Clerk was instructed to publish Notice of Hearing to be held January 11, 1965. Carried i City Engineer filed Plans and Specifications on Lateral 499, Ordinance 6836. On motio% of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline the plans and specifications were accepted and approved. Carried. Beer License application for 1965 was filed by Patricia Lewis for Ritz Tavern at 1012 North Broadway. On motion of Commissioner Stark, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the application was approved. Carried. Beer License application for 1965 was filed by Irene Egbert at 121 East Walnut. On motion of Commissioner Stark, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the application was approved. Carried. Beer license application for 1965 was filed by King Edward Williams at 646 North 5th. On motion of Commissioner Stark, seconded by Commissioner Spangler the application was approved. Carried.
