WHEREAS,the City of Salina, Kansas, is a legal government entity as provided by the laws of the
STATE OF KANSAS, and

WHEREAS, the City of Salina, Kansas intends to submit an application for assistance from the
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE-OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS,
Section 1. The applicant hereby certifies that the City of Salina,Kansas,is a legal government
entity under the status of the laws of the State of Kansas and thereby has the authority to apply for a
Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Grant from the United States Department of Justice-
Office of Justice Programs.
LSection 2. The applicant hereby authorizes the City Manager or designee of Salina,Kansas,to act
as the applicant's official representative in signing and submitting an application for the assistance to the
United States Department of Justice- Office of Justice Programs.
Section 3. The applicant hereby dedicates $ 0.00 in matching funds toward this project as
no matching funds are required.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
