05-26-2020 Consent to Hold Special Meeting CONSENT TO HOLD A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
We, the undersigned, being duly elected, qualified and acting Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas and constituting a majority of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas,
do hereby consent to the holding of a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas on the 26th day of May, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. for the purpose of the following:
t (3.1) Public hearing to consider an application to be submitted to the Kansas Department of
Commerce for Small Cities Community Development Block Grant funds under the CV-
Economic Development and/or Meals Programs.
(3.1a) Resolution No. 20-7835 certifying legal authority to apply for the 2020 Kansas
Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus program from the Kansas
Department of Commerce and authorizing the Mayor to sign and submit such an
application.
