Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners February 3, 1964. Meeting was
called to order by Acting Mayor Tucker, the roll was called and Commissioners Tucker,
Bull and Rundquist and City Attorney Bengtson responded. Commissioners Spangler and
Exline absent.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 27, 1964 were read and approved.
Bids were received on the Street sweeper. On motion of Cotamissioner Bull,
seconded by Commissioner Rundquist the bids were referred to the City Manager for
checking. Carried.
Twenty days notice up on the rezoning of E. 112.5' of Lots 40 & 42 & all Lot 38
Block 3 Van Tfines Addition to District "D".
No protests written or oral were filed.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist the rezoning
ordinance was introduced for first reading. Carried.

was introduced for first reading for the resurfacing of Elm Street from Seventh Street
to Ohio Avenue. Carried.

On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Bull a resolution
was introduced for first reading for the resurfacing of Fourth Street from Iron Avenue
1 to South Street. Carried.

On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist an ordinance
was introduced for first reading for City Limits in Wallerius��Addition. Carried.

Petition number 2738 was filed for sanitary sewer in Replat of Univeristy Addition.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist the petition was
referred to the City Manager. Carried.
Petition number 2739 was filed for the rezoning of B. 100' S. 140' & N. 130' of
Lot 12, Block 1 Tucker Park Addition to District "F". Light Industrial.

On motion of Commissioner Fund, seconded by Commissioner Bull the petition was
referred to the City Planning Commission. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist the gas
fitters bond filed by J. V. Duff was approved. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist the concrete
construction bond filed by Lee Haworth d/b/a Lee Haworth Construction Co, was approved.
Carried.
Cereal Malt Beverage application was filed by Juvention Q. Rodriguez, Chairman,
Salina G. I. Forum, 225 N. Santa Fe. On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded
by Commissioner Bull the application was approved. Carried.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist the ordinance
i was adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes:
i Tucker, Bull and Rundquist (3) Nays: (0) Commissioners Spangler and Exline absent.
