Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners December 23, 1963. Meeting was
called to order by Mayor Spangler, the roll was called and Commissioners Spangler,
Bull, Exline, Rundquist and Tucker and City Attorney Bengtson responded.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 16, 1963 were read and approved.
On motion of Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline six new cereal malt
beverage applications were approved. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Tucker, seconded by Commissioner Rundquist 40 renewal
cereal malt beverage applications were approved. Carried.
Petition number 2734 was filed by E. J. Kessler & J. D. Hensley. On motion of
Commissioner Bull, seconded by Commissioner Exline the petition was referred to the
City Planning Commission. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Rundquist, seconded by Commissioner Bull the Mayor was
authorized to sign the proposal of Horwath & Horwath for feasibility report on the
Community Inn. Carried.
Mayor appointed Don Tucker to represent the City Commission on the Community Chest.
An ordinance was introduced and passed entitled: "An ordinance making an
appropriation for the payment of certain claims."
On motion of Commissioner Exline, seconded by Commissioner Bull the ordinance was
adopted by sections and on its final adoption the following vote was had; Ayes:
Spangler, Bull, Exline Rundquist and Tucker (5) Nays: (0) Mayor approved the ordinance
and it is Numbered A-1201. Carried.
On motion of Commissioner Rundquist the Board of Commissioners adjourned.
