Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
June 19, 1973
The Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met in the Commissioners' Room,
City -County Building, on Tuesday, June 19, 1973, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. for the purpose of
considering a request from Dale Whitehead, Regional Engineer of Champlin to construct three
forty foot driveways at their station at the Northeast corner of Iron Avenue and Ohio Street.
There were present:
Acting Mayor William Usher, Chairman presiding
Commissioner Robert C. Caldwell
Commissioner Norma G. Cooper
comprising a quorum of the Board, also:
Norris D. Olson, City Manager
D. L. Harrison, City Clerk
Absent:
Mayor Jack Weisgerber
Commissioner Mike Losik, Jr.
L. 0. Bengtson, City Attorney
The City Engineer recommended the request be approved. A motion was made by
Commissioner Cooper, seconded by Commissioner Caldwell that the request be approved and
the driveways be authorized. Ayes: (3). Nays: (0). Motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Caldwell, seconded by Commissioner Cooper
that the Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners be adjourned. Ayes: (3). Nays: (0).
Motion carried.
