Special Meeting of the Board
of Commissioners
May 27, 1977
The Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met in the Commissio
Room, City -County Building, on Friday, May 27, 1977, at nine o'clock a.m., for
the purpose of awarding a contract to an architectural firm for the renovation
of Memorial Hall.
There were present:
Mayor Keith G. Duckers, Chairman presiding
Commissioner Dan S. Geis
Commissioner Gerald F. Simpson
Commissioner Jack Weisgerber
comprising a quorum of the Board, also:
Norris D. Olson, City Manager
D. L. Harrison, City Clerk
Absent:
Commissioner Karen M. Graves
L. 0. Bengtson, City Attorney
A motion was made by Commissioner Simpson, seconded by Commissioner
Geis to award the contract for architectural services for the renovation of
Memorial Hall to Jones, Gillam, and Englehart Architects. Ayes: (4). Nays:
(0). Motion carried.
A MOTION was made by Commissioner Simpson, seconded by Commissioner
Weisgerber that the Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners be adjourned.
Ayes: (4). Nays: (0). Motion carried.

WAIVER AND CONSENT TO HOLD A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
We, the undersigned, being the duly elected, qualified and acting
Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, and constituting a majority of the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, do hereby waive notice
and consent to the holding of a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners
on the 27th day of May, 1977, at 9:00 A.M. for the purpose of awarding a contract
to an architectural firm for the renovation of Memorial Hall.
