Special Meeting of the Board
of Commissioners
July 13, 1978
The Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met in the City
Commission Meeting Room, City -County Building, on Thursday, July 13, 1978, at
1:30 P.M.
There were present:
Mayor Jack Weisgerber, Chairman presiding
Commissioner Keith G. Duckers
Commissioner Dan S. Geis
Commissioner Karen M. Graves
comprising a quorum of the Board, also:
Norris D. Olson, City Manager
D. L. Harrison, City Clerk
Absent:
Commissioner Gerald F. Simpson
L. 0. Bengtson, City Attorney
The meeting was called for the purpose of discussing the 1979 Budget
and proposed uses of Revenue Sharing Funds for the 10th Entitlement Period.
There was considerable discussion about the possible uses of Revenue
Sharing Funds from the requests received.
The Commissioners discussed the possiblity of trying to cut about 1
mill from the General Fund budget.
A MOTION was made by Commissioner Geis, seconded by Commissioner
Graves that the Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners be adjourned. The
Special Meeting adjourned at 4:09 P.M.
