Special Meeting of the Board
Of Commissioners
March 21, 1978
The Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday,
!i f March 21, 1978, at 1:30 P.M., for the purpose of discussing the Hay Associates
Job Content Evaluation and Salary Plan, and the disposition of Schilling Manor.
!! There were present:
Mayor Keith G. Duckers, Chairman presiding
Commissioner Dan S. Geis
Commissioner Karen M. Graves
Commissioner Gerald F. Simpson
Commissioner Jack Weisgerber
comprising a quorum of the Board, also:
L. 0. Bengtson, City Attorney
Norris D. Olson, City Manager
D. L. Harrison, City Clerk
Absent:
None
Mr. Jerry Bratkovich presented the Hay Associates Job Content Evaluation,
and Salary Plan to the City Commission and Department Heads.
A motion was made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner
Weisgerber to recess into executive session to discuss the acquisition and
disposition of Schilling Manor. Ayes: (5).Nays: (0). Motion carried.
The Commissioners recessed at 3:20 P.M. and reconvened at 4:40 P.M.
A MOTION was made by Commissioner Simpson, seconded by Commissioner
Weisgerber that the Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners be adjourned.
Ayes: (5). Nays: (0). Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 4:41 P.M.

March 24, 1978, at 4:00 P.M., for the purpose of discussing the options relating
to Schilling Manor acquisition.
There were present:

Commissioner Karen M. Graves
Commissioner Gerald F. Simpson

A MOTION was made by Commissioner Geis, seconded by Commissioner
Graves that the Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners be adjourned.
Ayes: (5)• Nays: (0). Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 5:01 P.M.

WAIVER AND CONSENT TO HOLD A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
We, the undersigned, being the duly elected, qualified and acting
Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, and constituting a majority of the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, do hereby waive notice and
consent to the holding of a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners on the
24th day of March, 1978, at 4:00 P.M. for the purpose of discussing the options
relating to Schilling Manor acquisition.
