Mike Meehan, 461 South Delaware, said if you are going to have 30 MPH
on Ohio Street, which is 4 lanes, why not reduce the speed limit in front of my

(9.1) Request by American Recycling, of Pratt, Kansas, to present their
recycling program to the City Commissioners.
Mr. Leland Flint, Pratt, Kansas, said he could save $750.00 per 1,000
people in a years time, that he needed a 200' x 200' fenced area at the landfill
and city personnel would put old refrigerators, stoves, hot water heaters, car
bodies in the fenced area and they would crush these items and sell the metal.
This would save space in the landfill, cutting operating costs.
