Mr. Lee Lorenz, 1941 Rolling Hill Circle, told how the Wichita City
Commission is using the same budget they adopted in 1980. He feels the city can
continue good service with less money, and suggested the City Commission use the
same in 1981 it adopted for 1980.

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met in the City Commission
Meeting Room, City -County Building, on Monday, July 21, 1980, at four o'clock

membership fees for the Salina Municipal Golf Course.

recommendation from the Recreation Commission to increase the annual membership
fees for the Salina Municipal Golf Course be accepted and that Resolution Number
80-3499, establishing certain charges for the operation of the Salina Municipal
Golf Course, amending Resolution Number 80-3487 and repealing said original
resolution, be adopted. Aye: (5). Nay: (0). Motion adopted.
OTHER BUSINESS
Mayor Geis announced that there will be a Special Commission Meeting
called for 3:00 P.M. on July 28, 1980, and they were inviting the President and
Executive Committee from Kansas Wesleyan University for the purpose of discussing
the parking requirement needed for their new building.

WAIVER AND CONSENT TO HOLD A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
We, the undersigned, being the duly elected, qualified and acting
Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, and constituting a majority of the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, do hereby waive notice and
consent to the holding of a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners on the
28th day of July, 1980, at 3:00 P.M. for the purpose of considering the parking
requirements for the new building at Kansas Wesleyan University.
