Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
April 4, 1980

The Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners met in the City Commission
Meeting Room, City -County Building, on Friday, April 4, 1980, at ten o'clock A.M.
for the purpose of balancing the 1980 Budget.
There were present:
Mayor Karen M. Graves, Chairman presiding
Commissioner Roy W. Allen
Commissioner Keith G. Duckers
Commissioner Dan S. Geis
comprising a quorum of the Board, also present:
D. L. Harrison, City Clerk
Rufus L. Nye, City Manager
Absent:
II Commissioner Merle A. Hodges
L. 0. Bengtson, City Attorney
The City Manager presented Memorandum 80-3 to the City Commissioners
showing the shortfalls of revenue in the General Fund and suggested cuts in
personnel and certain line items in the General Fund to balance the 1980 Budget.
80-84 Moved by Commissioner Allen, seconded by Commissioner Geis that the
City Manager's recommendations be endorsed. Aye: (4). Nay: (0). Motion adopted.
80-85 Moved by Commissioner Duckers, seconded by Commissioner Allen that the
Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners be adjourned. Aye: (4). Nay: (0).
Motion adopted.
