Program and film on emergency childbirth, Dr. D. D. Goering attended program
to answer questions.
Propane Gas Fire Demonstration sponsored by the University of Kansas Training
School. At this demonstration, methods of handling L.P. Gas fires were explained
and demonstrated.
Tw~day Regional Fire School sponsored by the Kansas State Firefighters
Association. This school consisted of class room lectures and actual firefighting.
The basic training for the Saline County Rescue Squad h~S conducted at the
Salina Fire Department. By Fire Department Training Officers.
The Tri-Rivers Fair required special training on fire apparatus, used on stand-by
detail at the fair grounds. American Fire Equipment Co. furnished the apparatus.
Briefing with Lt. Jim Jarvis, National Guard Unit, on operating procedures
during disasters and disorders.
Rescui-Anne (Training Aid) demonstration was conducted for the L3dies Auxiliary
local #782.
