RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-5371
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING VARIOUS FEES FOR SERVICES IN THE
CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina provides many specific services for the Citizens of
Salina; and
WHEREAS, specific individuals benefit from said services; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate public policy to require specific individuals benefitting
from specific services to pay all or a portion of the cost of such services; and
WHEREAS, Salina Code Section 2-2 provides that the Board of Commissioners shall
determine, by resolution, all license fees, permit fees and other user related fees or charges
established by the ordinances of the City; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following fees charged by the City of Salina, under the
Comprehensive Fee Schedule, are hereby amended as follows:
Department of Parks and Recreation, GOLF COURSE, effective January 1, 1999:
AMEND:
Green Fees - 18 holes:
Weekday $ 10.00
Weekend $ 12.00
Green Fees - 9 holes:
Weekday $ 8.75
Weekend $ 10.75
Twilight Fee $ 8.75
Patron Cards:
Individual Adults $500.00 per year
Youth $125.00 per year
Couples (husband/wife) $750.00 per year
9 Hole Medical $400.00 per year
Discount cards:
10 play $ 95.00*
26 play $234.00*
52 play $416.00*
* Plus $2.00 on Weekends and Federal Holidays
Electric Cart rental (9 holes) $ 11.50
Electric Cart rental (18 holes) $ 19.00
Electric Cart rental (20 9 -hole rounds) $170.00
Pull Carts $ 2.00
Trail fees - 9 holes $ 4.00
Trail fees - 18 holes $ 5.50
Cart storage - gas $170.00 per year
Cart storage - electric $200.00 per year
Section 2. That the Comprehensive Fee Schedule shall be amended to reflect the fee
changes set forth in Section 1.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 23rd day of
November, 1998.
