A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CURB STANDARDS IN RESIDENTIAL
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That all public streets constructed in residential subdivisions in the City
of Salina shall be the straight or full -depth type. No rolled curbs will be allowed in residential
subdivisions.
Section 2. That the City of Salina shall, for new home construction only, remove
and dispose of the curb and gutter section at a cost to the property owner of $100 for a double wide
driveway and $125 for a triple wide driveway. This fee shall be paid at the time of issuance of the curb
cut (driveway) permit.
Section 3. That the standards provided for in this resolution shall be included in the
Manual of Engineering Design Standards for Public Improvements in the City of Salina.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 23rd day of
November, 1998.
