RESOLUTION NUMBER 00-5563
A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS,
APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT TO GRANT/LOAN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF SALINA AND A -PLUS GALVANIZING, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina and A -Plus Galvanizing are parties to that certain
Grant/Loan Agreement dated March 15, 1999;
WHEREAS, the Grant/Loan Agreement provided that the obligations of A -Plus
Galvanizing under the Grant/Loan Agreement were to be secured by first mortgage lien against certain
real estate; and
WHEREAS, A -Plus Galvanizing has requested that a substitute tract of real estate be
subject to the mortgage, SO NOW, THEREFORE
KANSAS:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALIVA,
Section 1. Approval. The Mayor is authorized to execute on behalf of the City
the First Amendment to Grant/Loan Agreement between the City of Salina, Kansas, and A -Plus
Galvanizing, Inc.
Section 2. Acceptance of Mortgage. The City Manager is authorized to accept
on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas, a mortgage on the real estate described in the First Amendment
to Grant/Loan Agreement upon receipt of a title report confirming that by recording the Mortgage the
City will hold a first mortgage lien against the real estate.
