REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
April 15,2019

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners was called to order at 8:00 a.m. in Room
203C,Tony's Pizza Events Center. Roll call was taken.
g Those present and comprising a quorum: Mayor Trent W. Davis, M.D. (presiding),
Commissioners Joe Hay,Jr., Melissa Hodges, Mike Hoppock and Karl Ryan.
8 Also present: Michael Schrage, City Manager, Jacob Wood, Deputy City Manager, Shandi Wicks,
City Clerk (present for Roll call only) and Patty Gentrup, KU Public Management Services.
ADMINISTRATION
(3.1) Consultant led discussion of preparation of a strategic planning report.
No formal action was taken. A strategic planning report will be prepared by the consultant
based on the discussion that occurred. The report will be reviewed and considered for
formal adoption at a subsequent regular meeting.
