RESOLUTION NUMBER 00-5599
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH WILDCATE GOLF, WICHITA, KANSAS FOR DESIGN/BUILD SERVICES
PERTAINING TO A 6 HOLE PAR 3 GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, the governing body approved a revised Capital Improvement Plan on
March 6, 2000 which included the construction of a par 3 golf course adjacent to the 18 hole
Municipal Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the design/build concept utilizes a single firm for both the planning and
architectural work as well as the construction phase of a project; and
WHEREAS, Wildcat Golf, Wichita, Kansas has been recommended by Blackwood and
Associates from Pennsylvania who completed concept designs for the National First Tee. SO NOW
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Design/Build Contract with
Wildcat Golf, Inc., Wichita, to design and construct a 6 -hole par 3 golf course adjacent to the Salina
Municipal Golf Course, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement, in an amount not to
exceed $407,500.00.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 1S` day of May,
2000.
