ORDINANCE NUMBER 91-9433
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 42-472 OF THE SALINA CODE
PERTAINING TO MEMBERSHIP OF THE HERITAGE COMMISSION; AND
REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION.
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That Section 42-472 of the Salina Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
repealed.
"Section 42-472. Membership.
The heritage commission shall consist of seven (7)
members, all of whom must reside within the city limits, to
be appointed by the board of commissioners. The
membership of the commission shall include, but not be
limited to, one (1) architect, one (1) historian, one (1)
archeologist, landscape architect, architectural historian, or
urban planner, one (1) city planning commissioner, one (1 )
member of the real estate or legal profession, and two (2)
other individuals that the board of Commissioners may wish
to consider."
Section 2. That the existing section of the Salina Code is hereby
