AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST CERTAIN LOTS AND
PIECES OF PROPERTY TO PAY THE COST OF THE REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS ON CERTAIN
LOTS AND PARTS OF LOTS AND THE PARKWAYS ABUTTING THEREON IN THE CITY OF
N SALIiNA,KANSAS.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Salina, Kansas, caused to be notified
the owner of the property herein described, to cause such sidewalks to be repaired; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property hereinafter described, after proper notice, did not repair such
sidewalk in accordance with Section 31-800 of the Salina Code, and the cost thereof has been ascertained,
SO NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied and assessed against the lots and pieces of property
hereinafter described, an assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of repairing such sidewalks, taxable
against the followings described lots in the amount set opposite of said lots:
Tract Number Legal Description Total Cost
The East Sixty (60) feet and the North One Hundred (100) feet, more
or less, of the West Forty-Three (43) feet of Lot Four(4); and the
North One Hundred (100) feet, more or less, of Lot Three (3), all in
Neely's Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas and the
West Ninety (90) Feet of that portion of Lot Seven (7), of Surveyor's
Plat"C" in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas lying South of
Smith & Colvard Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas. and The East
Thirty-Seven (37) feet of the South One Hundred Eighty-Seven (187)
feet of Lot Three (3), and the West Forty-Three (43) Feet of the South
One Hundred Eighty-Seven (187) Feet of Lot Four(4), in Neely's
6051 Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas. $1466.50
The East Eighty-One and one-half(81.5) feet of Lot Twelve (12),
Block Four(4) in Morrison's Replat of a part of Morrison's Third
7459 Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas $4590.20 i
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed and authorized to certify the assessments made in Section 1
of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be placed upon the tax roll for collection
subject to the same penalties and collected in like manner as other taxes.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published by the following summary:
