ORDINANCE NUMBER 18-10937
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SALINA CODE
SECTION 5-123 AND REPEALING SALINA CODE SECTION 5-26 PERTAINING TO
PERMISSIBLE ACTIVITIES AND HOURS OF OPERATION OF CLUBS AND
DRINKING ESTABLISHMENTS.
8 BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina. Kansas:
Section 1. Amendment. Section 5-123 of the Salina Code is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 5-123.• Hours of operation.
(a) No club or drinking establishment shall allow the serving, mixing or consumption
of alcoholic liquor on its premises between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
on any day.
(b) No caterer shall allow the serving, mixing or consumption of alcoholic liquor
between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on any day at an event catered by
such caterer.
Section 2. Repeal of existing section. Existing Salina Code Section 5-123 is repealed.
Section 3. Repeal. Salina Code Section 5-26 is repealed.

Ordinance No. 18-10937 Summary
On June 4, 2018, the City of Salina, Kansas, passed Ordinance No. 18-10937. The
ordinance amends Salina Code Section 5-123 and repeals Salina Code Section 5-26. The
amendment and repeal of such code sections pertain to permissible activities and hours of operation
of clubs and drinking establishments. A complete copy of the ordinance is available at www.salina-

certified by the city attorney.
Section 3. Effective date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication by summary once in the official city newspaper.
