A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SALINA
FIELD HOUSE QUALIFIED ACTIVE LOW-INCOME COMMUNITY BUSINESS, INC.
WHEREAS. the Articles of Incorporation of the Salina Field House Qualified Active Low-Income
Community Business, Inc. provide for the appointment by the City Commission of the City of Salina.Kansas
of its five (5) member Board of Directors;
WHEREAS, Kaye J. Crawford and Jon R. Blanchard have submitted their resignations as members of the
Board of Directors, and it is necessary for the City Commission to appoint their successors to serve for the
remainder of the terms, which expire on June 20, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the terms of all five (5) members of the Board of Directors will expire on June 20, 2018, and
the City Commission wishes to re-appoint all members of the Board of Directors for two (2) year terms,
commencing on June 20, 2018.
SO NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The City Commission accepts the resignations of Kaye J. Crawford and Jon R. Blanchard as
members of the Board of Directors.
Section 2. The following persons are appointed to fill the vacant Board of Director positions through the end
of the original terms of the vacant positions, which expire on June 20, 2018:
Mike Hoppock
Joe Hay, Jr.
Section 3. The following persons are appointed to the Board of Directors of Salina Field House Qualified
Active Low-Income Community Business, Inc.,commencing on June 20,2018, for terms of two(2)years,or
until successors are appointed and qualified:
Karl Ryan
Trent W. Davis, M.D.
Melissa Rose Hodges
Mike Hoppock
Joe Hay, Jr.
Section 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Vice-Mayor this 9th day of April, 2018.
