AGREEi!ENT
This agreement made and entered into this 31st. day of M,ay, 1973,
by and bet\-!een the CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, hereinafter refern~d to as
the IICityll and the COUNTY OF SALINE, KANSAS, hereinafter ref,~rred to
as the IICountyll,
WIT N ESE T H:
WHEREAS the City and the County have by mutual agreement agreed
to become a part of the North Central Regional Planning Commission
and have agreed to assume approximately 37% of the budget thelreof; and,
WHEREAS the City and the County desire by this agreement to fix
the share of said Regional Planning budget which each of the parties
hereto shall pay.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto mutually agree as follows:
(1). That the share of the North Central Regional Planning
Commission budget \'/hich is annually assigned by said unit to Saline
County will be prorat.ed between the City and County on the fol110wing
basis:
(a). One-half of the total assigned budget will be
prorated between the City and the County on the basis of
population, which shall be based on the last official census.
(b). One-half of the total assigned budget will be pro-
rated between tee City and the County based on the total
assessed valuation of all property within the City and the
County during the proceding calendar year.

(3). This agreement shall remain in full force and affect until
changes by the mutual agreement of both parties to this agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto set their hands
this 20th day of November. 1973.
