4387 Markley Magnolia Sewer Extension City Clerk's Office Filed '17;OCi13„;wq;00 PETITION 4387 TO THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS: We, the undersigned, owners of record of property located within the City of Salina, Kansas (the "City") do hereby respectively request that the Governing Body of the City create and designate an improvement district for the purpose of making certain improvements in the manner provided by K.S.A. 12-6a01, et seq. 1. The general nature of the proposed improvements are as follows: The installation of approximately 484 lineal feet of ten-inch sanitary sewer main, 7.724 lineal feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer main, service connections for sewer lines, manholes, modifications to an existing pump station, new pump station and all appurtenances thereto (the "Improvements"), as shown on the map attached as Exhibit A. 2. The estimated or probable cost of the Improvements is: Two Million Two Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars and Fifty Cents (S2,255,265.50). 3. The extent of the proposed improvement district to be assessed is: Lot 1, Block 3, except the west 143 feet in Valley View Addition, City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas The west 143 feet of Lot 1, Block 3 in Valley View Addition, City of Salina. Pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 12-6a19, there is additional property that benefits from the Improvements, but is not included within Improvement District referenced in paragraph 3 herein because the property is currently outside the City limits.
