AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 608 OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING
CODE PERTAINING TO APPLIANCE CONNECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section I. That The Salina Code is hereby amended by adding a section to be
numbered 9-205.1, which said section shall read as follows:
"Section 9-205.1 Amendment of Section 608 of Uniform
Plumbina Code.
That Section 608 of the Uniform Plumbing Code as adopted
by the City of Salina, Kansas, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Appliances, devices, equipment or other
apparatus not regularly classed as plumbing
fixtures, which are equipped with pumps, drips
or drainage outlets, may be drained by indirect
waste pipes discharging into an approved type
open receptor."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
